Jeff Hert


Principal, Rehmann’s Midland office

Jeff is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting. He believes that it is his job to proactively seek tax planning and profit enhancement opportunities for clients. Jeff has been in public accounting since 1993. He provides tax and business advisory services for individual and business clients including manufacturers, healthcare providers, contractors, retailers, real estate holding companies, fiduciaries, small business investment companies and not-for-profits. Jeff manages federal tax compliance services for tax-exempt clients in Rehmann’s Eastern Region. He also provides assurance services related to FIN 48 reviews for unrelated business income.

Kenneth Mault


US Army Veteran; Retired Detective Lieutenant, Midland County Sheriff, 28 years

After retiring Ken spent 10 years at the Midland Area Community Foundation as the Program Officer. He has served on various non-profit boards and spent 8 years on the Midland School Board. Ken and his wife Lorie have been married 31 years and have two daughters Linden Rogers, with husband Michael of Midland and daughter Kaitlin of Farmington.

Sarah Schieber - Executive Director


After earning a degree in Music Business from Anderson University, Sarah Schieber has spent twenty years travelling the country singing, speaking, and enjoying a successful radio career. In 2011 Sarah approached Chief Cliff Block of the City of Midland Police Department with an idea for a teen safe driving program that had been the dream of her first husband, Officer Chad Schieber. Chad passed away in 2007 while running the Chicago Marathon. Project 111 was his idea and his passion. Since launching Project 111 in 2014, Sarah has dedicated her life to teaching teenagers about safe driving and raising awareness of the issues that most often face teens behind the wheel.

Kelli Jankens


Kelli Jankens is the Manager of Injury Prevention programs for the Trauma Department at MidMichigan Medical Center in Midland. She has been managing injury prevention programs since 1999 both in Michigan and Illinois. Kelli earned an MBA from Northwood University in 2011 and a BA in biology from Oakland University in 1989. In addition to Project 111, Kelli is a member of the Humane Society of Bay County and the Midland Walk to End Alzheimer’s committee. In her free time she enjoys gardening, cooking, and travel, and is the proud parent of 6 rescue cats.

Steve Witt


Steve grew up in Midland and received his Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Ohio University.  He has owned Steve Witt State Farm Insurance and Financial Services for 12 years. He is active on various boards in Midland as well as an Adopt-A-Highway and Adopt-A-Park leader for 7 years. Steve also coaches hockey at Midland High. Along with his wife Betsy, they have three children Emily, Matthew, and Andrew.

Reverend Dr. Wallace H. Mayton III


Wally Mayton has served as Associate Pastor of the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Midland since 1989. As parent with his wife Lindsay, he enjoys five adult daughters with their families, including seven grandchildren. He is engaged in the community with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Great Lakes Bay Region, the Greater Midland North Family Center, the ROCK Center for Youth Development, the Affordable Housing Alliance of Midland County, United Way of Midland County, MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland, and Project 111.

Lynne Ranck is an administrative leader who supports the Global Director of Dow’s Environmental, Health & Safety function. Lynne has worked with Dow for 30 years with experience in a variety of departments such as Legal, Corporate Secretary’s Office, Polyethylene business, Public & Government Affairs. Lynne is a proud Coleman Comet graduate and excited to join the Project 111 Board. She looks forward to making a difference in the lives of area teens and growing Project 111’s mission to state and national levels.

Kelly Juday

Kelly Juday

Kelly Juday has been at Great Lakes Safety Training Center since 2006. She was named the Executive Director at Great Lakes Safety Training Center in August of 2012. As a Director for a non-profit entity, she is responsible for leading the center and directing the company’s vision as a partner for innovative safety solutions not only in the workplace, but also in the community.
Prior to being named Executive Director, Kelly served as the Education Manager and was instrumental in creating strong client relationships, as well as developing and fine-tuning education programs in preparation for the opening of the center’s Hands-On Lab in March of 2012. She has been a cheerleader for safety throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region with her countless efforts to reach out and promote safety education to all.
